For much of the late '90s - and likely well into the next century - the
battle over dams dominates the political landscape. The focus is on the
four dams of the Lower Snake River: Ice Harbor, Lower Monumental, Little
Goose and Lower Granite.
The Tri-City Herald series "The Snake: Life Without Dams" examines
the battlefield from all sides of the issues and tries to answer the question:
What would life be like without the dams?
